Note:The more Rydia summons the weaker she gets, however she regains her strength by sleeping, or just by not using any magic.

Fire:Focuses for a moment, and holds her right hand as if she was holding a ball. A basic three small fireball appears and she throws it at her enemy.

Fira:Raises her hands up, and brings them down making an X as it levitates making five fireballs shower from above on the enemy.

Blizzard: Smirks and snaps her fingers five diamonds of ice, shooting down at the enemy.

Blizzara: Spins twice as ice begins to float around her, as it collects on her fingers. She then snaps her fingers twice, and two huge blocks of ice pile on the enemy freezing them.

Thunder: Brings a finger from her right hand up, as electricity flows towards it. After she brings her finger down pointing it at an enemy, and smiles yelling out the magic word. One strike of thunder from above, shocks an enemy.

Thundara:Brings a finger from her right hand up, as electricity flows towards it. After she brings her finger down pointing it at an enemy, and smiles yelling out the magic word. Four strikes of thunder from above, shocking an enemies.

Sleep: Rydia winks blowing a kiss at an enemy as bubbles float towards them. They pop in the enemies face, and make them drowsy. However after five minutes they should be knocked out sleeping. The spell only last for another, five minutes due to it not being that much of a high level.

Poison: Rydia raises her hands above her head, and wiggles her fingers lightly. A set up of purple bubbles, oozes from below an enemy, and Rydia tilts her head saying the magic spell.

Stop:Rydia raises her hand as little clocks ping off her fingers, till she opens her palm yelling the spell word. The enemy is stopped for about five to ten minutes depending on the strength of Rydia.

Toad:Rydia opens her hands like she is about to hug someone, till sparkles of green float around the enemy. The enemy then begins to grow the parts of a frog, till Rydia smiles and says the spell word. After the enemy is officially turned into a frog.

Warp:Rydia prays as sparkles float around her for a moment, till she ends up saying the spell word. However when startled she ends up just saying the word.

Summons

Note:The more Rydia summons the weaker she gets, but she opens her arms and a flower circle floats around her. The sky or her summons element opens as the, summons appears attacking at Rydia's command.

Mist Dragon: He opens his mouth, and sparkles of light power up, till he shoots a ray of light called Radiant Breath.

Ifrit: He bathes the enemy party in a ball of rising flame and then throws a chunk of earth at them, causing fire damage. This is attack is the most deadly out of his basic fire spells called Hellfire or Inferno. However he goes know Fire and Firaga due to his main element being fire.

Shiva: She puts one hand over the other, and pillars of ice rain down on an enemy.

Leviathan:. It is a sea serpent, and its attack, Tidal Wave, also known as Tsunami, deals Water-elemental damage to all enemies. Tidal Wave is basically a huge pillar of water forming from below an enemy harming them.

Asura: She is a healing summon, and will randomly cast one of three spells depending on which face is showing when summoned. If she shows her serene (Pale) face, she casts Curaga on the allies. If she shows her happy (Gray) face, she will cast Life on Rydia's friends. If she shows her angry (Orange) face, she will cast Protect on Rydia's friends.

Bahamut: He flies up into the air, and a ancient sign forms as he flaps his wings. After he opens his mouth, and a huge ray of light shines down forming a ball then exploding on enemies. This amazing and powerful attack is called Mega Flare.

Ramuh:He summons his staff and uses the thunderstorm attack dealing lightning damage to a single enemy. His other attack is judgment bolt dealing lightning damage to all enemies.

Titan: Comes from the earth and uses, clobber which is slamming his fist on an enemy. The other is Stomp which lets him crush an enemy. Earthen Fury is when he causes, an earth quake harming all enemies.

Personality:

Rydia of The Mist is a very interesting, girl who is actually pretty compassionate towards others. Even though Cecil and Kain killed her mother, she still felt some remorse for him inside. Her heart is always thinking, of the people around her for she is truly caring. She doesn't really hate many things, and even if she did Rydia tends to slowly forgive and forget. However she is stubborn at times, when it comes to doing something she is told. Rydia was very stubborn when Edge kept telling to to leave, for she did but only acted as if she did hiding away inside the ship.

At other times she is very courageous, by facing the great summon Asura, and even Bhamut the King of Dragons. She actually shows it along her journey, by over coming her fear of fire, and having the courage to fight Golbez. But Rydia is also intelligent by hiding away on the ship, and by tricking Edge. But in fact she is a bit reckless by just jumping into the battle by using Mist Dragon against Shadow Dragon. But that is made up with a strong heart, and the ability to always stick by her friends. In fact she is a very trustworthy person, always doing her best to stick by her friends and keep their secrets. But all in all Rydia is always herself, showing a bit of a new temper when friends get into trouble.

History:

Rydia of Mist was born as one of the few remaining full blooded summoners in Mist. She was a very happy girl, and grew up respecting her mother because she was known as the protector of Mist. Her powerful Eidolon Mist Dragon protected her Village and isolated it from the outside world except Mist Cave. When the Dark Knight named Cecil Harvey and his best friend, Kain Highwind, had been ordered by the King of Baron to deliver a ring to the Mist Village and kill the Mist Dragon. Rydia was a cute seven year old and never realized that her world was going, to be turned around completely. The rule was whenever a Eidolon dies, the Summoner who had summoned the creature dies as well. Due to the Mist Dragon being killed Rydia's mother died. After, Rydia's mother died and Cecil along with Kain came to Mist after-wards, and the ring released Bombs. Sadly the a village, was set it on fire. During that time Cecil and Kain found out the bad news involving Rydia's mother from Rydia, and offered to take her to safety.But Rydia was so angry, and overwhelmed that Cecil and Kain killed her mother, she would not accept help. However she got angry, and yelled out "I HATE You!" A Rumble was heard underground, as she summoned Titan and caused a massive earthquake which caused a landslide in the eastern mountains, separating Cecil from Kain.

However Rydia was hurt during the earthquake, and Cecil took her to the desert oasis of Kaipo to let her sleep. Cecil tried to ask Rydia her name, but Rydia refused to speak to him. But that night, soldiers from Baron came to Kaipo in search of Cecil. He learns that the King of Baron wanted all Summoners eliminated, telling his men that they were extremely too dangerous to be alive. But Cecil fought off the soldiers because he was questioning the King, and he did not want to cause anymore trouble. The summoner acknowledged Cecil's kindness, and told him her name. The next day, the two find Cecil's childhood friend Rosa Joanna Farrell Rosa for short. She was in Kaipo with a fever and the doctor said they had to search for the Sand Ruby so she could be cured. Rydia and Cecil went north through the Underground Waterway to Damcyan, and met an old man, Tellah, on the way there. He joined the team, and they arrived at Damcyan just in time to see the Red Wings attack and steal the Crystal of Fire. However at the top of the castle, they found Anna, Tellah's daughter, wounded. Tellah blamed the attack on Edward Chris von Muir, the prince of the kingdom. Due to that the two actually got into a fight, and right in the middle Anna broke it up. Sadly Anna died, and Tellah went away, swearing vengeance on the new commander of the Red Wings, Golbez. Due to the heartbreak Edward started to cry, but Rydia and Cecil had snapped him out of it. After the prince agreed to take them to Antlion's Den, where the Sand Pearl was located. The two attained the pearl from the Antlion and cured Rosa.

Due to Rosa being Recovered, she decided that her Cecil, and Rydia needed to defend the remaining Crystals. Also that the Crystal of Air in Fabul was the next target. During the journey there they crossed Mt. Hobs, a mountain blocked by ice, in order to reach Fabul. Due to that Rydia was the only one who could melt the ice by casting a Fire spell. But, she said that she could not cast the spell. This concept confused Rosa, as Fire was one of the most basic Black Magic spells there was. However at the mountain, Rydia told her hatred of fire and refused to cast the spell, due to fire having destroyed her village. But with the encouragement of the group, Rydia overcame her fear and cast Fire, and the group was able to save the Monk Yang Fang Leiden on the mountain from Golbez's monsters.While in Fabul, Yang warned the king of Baron coming to attack, Cecil and Edward helped defend the castle while Rosa and Rydia were put on relief. But, after the fight against the Baronian army, Cecil was cornered by Kain, who had at that moment turned against Cecil, in the Crystal room. The two fought, and Cecil lost it. However Golbez defeated Edward along with Yang, and took Rosa as a hostage. After Kain took the Crystal and left, while Rydia cured the group. Afterward Cecil decided their best choice of action would be to sneak into Baron by sea and get an airship from Cid Pollendina. He was also skeptical of what Baron was up to these days.

The group needed to find Cid, so the king of Fabul gave, them a ship they got on it setting sail towards Baron. However which in the ocean the ship was attacked by Leviathan, the Lord of All Waters. Sadly Rydia was blown off the ship, and Yang dove in to save her. Due to the ship being attacked it scattered the four, and the survival of Edward, Yang, and Rydia were unknown. Cecil then reunited with Yang, and he says Rydia was swallowed by Leviathan, making the group assumes she died.But instead of dieing, Leviathan actually took Rydia to the Feymarch, the home of all Eidolons. Inside that place time moves faster, and while Cecil and his friends were separated from Rydia only a short period of time, years went past in the Feymarch, and Rydia grew into a young woman at a fast rate. She mastered her skills as a summoner and gained Black Magic, powers although she lost the ability to perform White Magic. After the queen of the Feymarch, Asura told Rydia about the danger Golbez was placing the world in. Due to learning that Rydia decided, to leave the Feymarch and return to Cecil so she could help him.

After Rydia left Cecil and his friends had entered the underground world where the Dark Crystals were located, and were attempting to protect the Crystal in the Dwarven Castle from Golbez. When Golbez shows up and summons a Shadow Dragon which instantly kills everyone except Cecil. But to Cecil's surprise, Rydia with new skill summons the legendary Mist Dragon to defeat the Shadow Dragon. She then rejoined the group in battle, finally helping everyone. After Golbez is defeated, but he had enough strength to steal the dwarves' Crystal by teleporting away after his hand grabs it. Afterward Rydia explained to Cecil and his friends about what happened to her, and rejoins the group as they go attack the Tower of Babil in order to get the other Crystals back.But to no surprise the attack on the tower fails, and the group returns to the surface. They enter a hidden passage to, the upper levels of the tower through the Eblan Cave. At the opening to the tower, they find one of Golbez's Archfiends, Rubicante, battling the Eblan prince Edge. Edge attacked him, but his attack was Fire-based and he healed him. However Rubicante badly wounded Edge and retreated. The group then says they should work together to defeat him. Although Edge rejects the idea and his injuries prompt Rydia to cry. However Yang and Cid died before they could return to the surface. After Edge says he cannot stand to see a pretty girl cry, and after Rosa heals him having him rejoin the group.

While on top of the tower, the group battles Edge's mutated parents, and eventually dispatch Rubicante. The group entered the Crystal Room, where they fell into a booby trap. They fell to the Underground and found a new airship called the Falcon. Cid, who was suppose to be dead helped them, and remodeled it to fly over magma and reach the cave where the final Crystal was located. After the the group enters the Feymarch and battles Asura and Leviathan. While there Rydia gained their trust, and was able to summon them. During the journey she had attained, many summons and the used them in all battles.The group headed for the Sealed Cave and opens it, but once the Crystal is retrieved Golbez takes control of Kain, who steals the Crystal and runs off. The group then heads back to the Upper World and heads for Mysidia, where the Elder prays for something to help the heroes. The thing he prayed for was, the Lunar Whale, also known as "Ship of Light from The Moon," which allows the group to fly to the Red Moon. While, there the group entered the Lair of the Father and battled Bahamut. Rydia and the gang earned his trust, and was able to summon him after. In fact she was the first human to earn Bahamut's help.

On The Moon, the gang finds a palace where Fusoya s man who slept stayed. Fusoya woke up and explained that Golbez was being controlled by a Lunarian named Zemus the entire time. He then tells the real reason of why Golbez was gathering the Crystals. The Crystals were the key to activating the Giant of Babil which could grant wishes. Zemus wished for the Earth to be destroyed, and he used Golbez to do it. The gang returns, to Earth with Fusoya. But, they are too late and the Giant of Babil had awakened. He began to go on its destructive spree and Cid full recovered, lead an army of leaders and Cecil's friend, to battle with the Giant.The gang enters the Giant, and the went towards the main computer, which, would stop the Giant if destroyed. However, they had to do battle with the Archfiends again. After winning the battle, the party headed for the CPU and defeated it. Afterward, Golbez appeared, who was mad that his plans were thwarted. Luckily Fusoya knocked Golbez back to earth, and he learned that he was Cecil's brother. Fusoya and Golbez then headed to the Moon to fight Zemus. After Kain joined the heroes and on the Lunar Whale, Rydia was asked to leave the ship. Edge kept talking to her about it, and she was so upset that she left. However, she stowed away and headed to The Moon anyway, and convinced Cecil that she should join, as she believed that they were all fighting for a common cause, and because she was the only Summoner left. Cecil agreed with her and they headed to the Lunar Core. They watched Fusoya and Golbez defeat Zemus. However, the hatred that had possessed Zemus and Zeromus, jumped out and attacked the gang. However with help from old friends, they defeated Zeromus.Rydia returned to the Feymarch, where she was more comfortable as her home. She also attended Cecil and Rosa's wedding, but Asura felt Rydia needed to be with her friends, making her unable to return to her and remain with her human friends.

But then Rydia was gained access back home, and was helping rebuild the village of Mist. She placed a grave stone for her mother saying. It read "Here lies the motherly summoner who protected our village." After Rydia went to visit the Feymarch and found that all all the Eidolons had been petrified. After returning to the village, she finds that one of the Dark Crystals had been stolen and sets out with Luca into a cave to protect the remaining crystal from the Mysterious Girl, who easily defeated them using Titan. However The Mysterious Girl was later beat by a man cloaked in black who rescues Rydia and Luca, taking them to the Tower of Babil and telling them that the events from before are being repeated. Elsewhere while on the Falcon, Edge and the Eblan Four land on the ship and tell Rydia of the events that had happened recently. While there Edge instantly recognizes the Man in Black as Golbez. Together the group round up other members to confront the Mysterious Girl.After beating the Mysterious Girl, it was revealed that she was a puppet for the Creator, the true source of evil. After The Mysterious Girl name was revealed as Maenad. She fights with the group to defeat the Creator and is killed with her former master. However back on earth,Maenad was given a second chance at life as a little girl Cuore. Rydia then met her down on earth,and trained her as a summoner. However two years passed and when Rydia sensed something was wrong, she stopped the training during Cuore's last days to help her old friends.

Likes: Rydia like most people enjoys, her friends and even having adventures. Though she feels as if being, herself is the most important trait she has. It shows she loves herself, and doesn't have the need to truly change at all. However she feels summoning will always be in her blood, and likes it more than anything. The moments she shared with her mother, when summoning will be in her heart for a very long time. Lastly she truly likes her life, for she feels nothing is better then she life she is living currently.

Dislikes: Rydia truly dislikes suffering because, her mother suffered a horrible death. Her people suffered as well, due to being ruthlessly killed by a thoughtless order. Even though Golbez turned into a good person, she really doesn't like him. He hurt too many people, and she doesn't think forgiving him is an option. Rydia's dislike for sour, candy is a silly one for her. She is a bit foolish for eating even though she dislikes it, but she has a sweet-tooth. However due to her scantly dressed style, she doesn't like winter. Plus due to her stubborn attitude, she doesn't want to change her outfit. The idea of changing her outfit makes her feel, as if she is changing something she doesn't want to change.
