Personality: Fran's personality is shown alot in the game as being stern, straight to the point and always keeps a emotionless face. She tends to show no emotion to anyone, except on rare occassions or to Balthier only. She has a sharp tongue and tends to speak in a smooth tone, her words rolling off the tip like a sharp knife. She is also very protective when it comes to her partner, and the friends she has met. Fran has also been known to get angry quite easily, and impatient if someone just lollygags around.

Being a viera she is senstive to Mist, and will go into beserk mode where she is uncontrollable but ONLY if there is mist. Fran also has a soft side, again which is very rare to see. But should you catch it she tends to smile, not a big smile just a small one that crosses her lips from time to time. The Viera has also been known to cry, tears that she tends to hide so no one thinks she's weak.
History:Not much is known about the past of this Viera, it's clouded in mystery. All that is known is that she was born in Eruyt Village, and that she left it 50 years ago. Fran also has two sisters, Mjrn and Jote both being left behind as she left the village to explore Ivalice. It is hinted they are blood sisters, upon her departure from Eruyt the Viera says to Mjrn that only one sister remains to her and thus leaving she has discarded the wood and her ties to it.

Fran is later on seen with Balthier, it's not known how she met him or where but considering her age it would seem she had met him at anytime after leaving the village. They became partners and it's unknown after that how long they have known eachother. It's also unclear if she knows about Balthier's past, as for them being partners they keep is professional between them although it would seem there is alot more behind that. Fran is first introduced with her partner at the royal palace, when they have a little run in with Vaan while he is stealing the Goddess' Magicite. They then try to escape on the hover bike but it crashes when the gem drains the power, and thus began the crazy adventure.

They go to meet up with the resistance, also meeting with Ashe. Returning to low town they meet Penelo, but are then arrested and are soon thrown into the Nalbina Dungeon. With her keen sense she manages to find a way out, and they come across Basch the man who was wrongfully accused of a crime he did not do. Kicking the lever they ride his cell down to the bottom of a shaft, also sensing Mist but not enough to drive her mad.

Upon her travels she once again returns home knowing she is not welcome, only to find out her sister Mjrn has gone missing. Finding out her location in the Mines, the party sets out and defeats the monsters and the creature Venat. Taking Mjrn back to the village, Fran asks Jote to listen to the wood for her since she has lost the ability. Upon her sister's reply, she simply says it's nothing but a plesant lie.

The group eventually make their way to Pharos at Ridorana where Ashe attempts to destroy the Sun-Cryst. The Mist escaping from the Cryst drives Fran mad, and she can barely contain herself. As Dr Cid is defeated and dies, his departing spirit possesses Fran for an instant, who speaks Cid's final words to Balthier, urging him to escape.As a all out war is breaking out, they head to the sky fortress Bahamut to defeat Larsa's brother Vayne, after he is defeated the fortress loses it's power and is about to fall upon Rabanastre. Urging the other's to go, she and Balthier stay behind to fix the glossier rings and save Rabanaste. Fran is injured in the process by falling rubble, and Bahamut crashes just outside the city and the group thinks they have both perished.

A year later a note arrives, Vaan and Penelo read it as it says she and Balthier are alive and ask the two to join them on Cache of Glabados at Bervenia Palace.

RP Sample:Fran had been quite aware that the boy still needed to put his shoes on, but she was not one to wait around. Being what she was, she was always impatient with things and preferred moving forward.This boy would just have to get use to her being like this until they found a way off the island. She wanted to get information and find a exit that's all she wanted.Even if they did find a way off this island, where would she even go first to look for Balthier he could be in any of these places. How did a simple day of gathering treasure and being sky pirates, turn into such a disaster. Here she was stuck on a island with a boy, who was just as lost as her.

Glancing back she saw him struggling to get his effects, but soon he was running to catch up to her. Ugh it must be uncomfortable wearing those with sand in them, but guess it was her fault a bit taking off and not waiting. But he had to understand she just wanted to get out of here, and yes of course he also wanted to get out of here right. Stopping for a moment she tilted her head ever so slightly, this boy he reminded her so much.....no. Looking at him a little closer, her crimson eyes staring into his she then pulled back. Yes he did remind her of Vaan, so much like him but not him.

When he introduced himself and told of his home location, she scrunched her nose up. Introductions another thing she didn't quite like, but since he had already told her his name it would be rude to not answer him back. Standing straight she looked towards the houses, they were closer now that they had walked across the sand. The question was is there anyone inside them though, the viera could see a few flickers of light coming from one of the windows. Turning her attention back to Hope, she began to walk again.
