TRAPPED UPON THIS ISLAND WITHNO WAY WAY TO GET HOME----------------Rufus slowly opened his eyes to find himself on the dirt ground. What had happened? He had been on the desk trying to analyze the finances of WRO for Reeve. As usual he was staying up late with the thanks of coffee. In a way it was almost like being President or even Vice President. He always did have to do most of his father’s stacks of paperwork while the man does whatever he wanted. Chances are it was flirting with women. The thought made his eye twitch, to think the man’s blood coursed through his veins. It was not a pleasant thought, no far from it actually. The thought repulsed him but now as not the time to be stuck in the past. The company was gone and he was out of his father’s shadow even if he still had to fix his father’s little handiwork. Although that was not all, he still had to fix his own mistakes as well.
Slowly he pushed himself off the ground and brushed off whatever dirt that was on his white suit. Now where was he? The place looked familiar but it was nothing like the office he was in. No, this was a village and there seem to be people walking around. Some of them giving him strange stares. He heard small mummers and also his name. Ahh, it seems he had landed in one of Shinra’s ex-territory most likely. Perhaps Wutai? No, these people do not have any resemblance to Wutains. Instead they seem to more similar to Strife and Lockheart. Interesting. He never did got to learn of their hometown, namely because he had been far too busy trying to look for the promise land, deal with the civilians little fears, Sephiroth and the group themselves. They seem to have a mix of fear in their eyes. He did not blame them. The name Shinra was not to be taken lightly nor pleasantly. He was just amazed they did not try to throw something at him.
The blond though did notice that the women hid their children as if he was some kind of monster. Even though he had funded the WRO and Edge for that matter. Although he did not know where this place exactly was. What he did know was that it seems to have been rebuilt and there was a big lab. He recognized it immediately and was able to figure out his location. Nibelhiem, this was the place in which Sephiroth had supposedly gone mad according to the date files he had read through. It was not hard to do really. Actually it was quite simple for him. He had prided himself in his photographic memory that he had to have. He trained himself to remember so much as a young kid. Although he did not know how he had gotten here. Had someone knocked him out and dragged him here? No it was too far away from Edge and therefore highly illogical. He would have felt something and his body did not ache. Besides what were his TURK doing? Oh yeah he had sent them on a mission but he had kept two with him. Namely Reno and Rude. The two although they may at times be incompetent did get their job done. That was a lot more than he can say for some of the staff he had back when he was president. Namely Heidgger. He almost winced at being reminded by that stupid horse laugh.
Without a word to them due to the fact that they were wary of him. He knew he was on thin ice right now. Still he needed to figure out what was going on. He was trying to figure out what to say in his head. First though he raised his hands to show that he meant no harm even if he had a weapon. He saw no reason to use it unless they attacked him. Both party did not get along so he should try to show them that he was not here to conquer them. Not that he can with only himself of course. They seem to slowly lower their guard but also cautious. Perhaps he should leave. ”I do not mean any harm. If one of you be so kind enough to lead me to the exit I shall leave.” he told them. It seems one of them, a man had come up to him. He slowly lead him to the exit and he walked away. If he continued he should be able to get into another town. He had some money with him so perhaps he shall get a ride. If he was lucky he might just encounter Strife and get a ride from the so called ex-SOLDIER. The thought made him smirk. As if that was to happen. The two even though no longer enemies cannot be on the best of terms. Not that he hated the blond, it was just that there were things he had lost because of the male. Namely his loyal pet Dark Nation. Then again that lost was to happen sooner or later. Perhaps he had simply not been ready?
Yet he noticed the landscape had changed considerably. Of course landscapes would change over the years but it was subtle. This had not been the case. He had even noticed some creatures he had never seen before. This was not good and he didn’t suppose he could just walk back. Having no choice Rufus continued as his hand reached for his gun. As he had suspected the monsters seems to find him appetizing. Thanks to this TURK training though he was able to shoot them down one by one. He watched them fall. As a bird came out though he aimed for its head only to see that he had ran out of ammo. This was not good. Having no choice the male turned around and bolted away. His body though had not recovered long enough and found himself stumbling a couple steps but always caught himself thanks to the adrenaline. Although the bird had an advantage and he can hear it soaring down to attack him. Suddenly though a shadow came out and killed the bird by biting it. Out of curiosity the ex-president turned around to see a familiar figure. ”Dark Nation? The created turned around.
His blood orbs had a small sense of confusion and content in them before it quickly went to its usual once he confirmed it was his pet. This was either a strange dream or something was wrong with the life stream. He felt it was more of the former though. ”Take me to the closest city.” He commanded it and it obey. As he walked down for who knew how long, at times almost tripping the creature stop and he saw a shadow. Instantly he pulled out his gun even if it didn’t have any ammo. It was not like the other person would know that right?

HAPPINESS HIT HER LIKE A TRAIN ON TRACKS COMING TOWARDS HER STILL NO TURNING BACK

He didn't seem widely affected by what just happened days ago, but all he remembered was that Stella disappeared, and so did him and his friends, leaving their world in ruin and distort. The only goal that was on his mind was to find any way to get back to his own world. If it meant killing people, so be it. If it meant siding with some bad forces, so be it. If it meant abandoning his 'friends' that he made here, so be it. He will use any means necessary to get back to his world, while trying to get Stella, and the three so-called "friends" of his. They only tagged along with him because they were helping him protect the city-state that he once ruled over. He was still a prince, yet his kingdom was destroyed and that status meant nothing in this world. He took that condition into consideration and walked past the entrance, the people looking at him as if he was some shadowy being read to destroy their homes.
Why are they doing that? It wasn't that much worse when it came to the guards, but the village people immediately backed up at the sight of him. He didn't have that much of an intimidating presence, but what just happened was probably why they did that. They were simply cautious. He did not know that word. Afraid. He did not know that word too. The two words danced around in his mind like a small carnival, giving him noises and images that were unnecessary to accomplish what he was here to do. Maybe it was his cold, blank expression that was placid across his face. He only did that to people that he didn't know, or just to amuse himself. Amuse. He did not know that word either. He did not make eye contact with them at all, as to trying to stir something up in a village so small will be a bad idea. The men looked at him strangely, standing in front of their wives as if the man was going to steal them away. Like he needed someone like that. He was already in love... sort of.
He wasn't troubled or anything, he just found that the children tended to walk slowly up to him, as if they want to draw a picture of him or just to see how he looks. The women just hastily told them to go back into the house and then they soon followed, slamming the door with a violent slam. The recent events that just happened with the strange shadow enveloping everything was probably manipulating them this instant, telling them that anyone that looked strange like him, do not talk to and act as if you're afraid. Some people kept on murmuring about their village called Nibelhiem. Nibelhiem. So that was the name of the village. The name certainty fits, for something this noisy yet eerie and ominous. He did not mean any harm at all; but they were still trying to guard himself from what every attacks he should throw at him. Should? He doesn't attack anyone that hasn't done anything to him, only if they attacked him first. It would be self-defense, after all -- or will it?
He found the exit by himself, because as soon as he was about to ask someone about it, they quickly pointed towards the exit and walked away quickly. As to make them calmer in a way, he lifted his hands to show that he didn't mean no harm. Of course, he could always use his weapons that seem to come out of thin air, hidden by the crystal power that he uses. He carries those crystals, using it's power in battle, yet he doesn't need to at all. What happens if they break? He cannot imagine that, and it would only mean that his position as protector will be unnecessary. He won't have any more power, but he'll still be able to fight with a weapon lying nearby. He was adept to fighting without using any form of supernatural powers. He seemed more formidable when using them. Maybe he shouldn't use his granted powers here. Slowly, the landscape started to change, giving him access to a field full of monsters that he has never seen before.
His thoughts were soon interrupted as he heard someone take out their firearm, and with him automatically going into self defense, he was about to out-stretch his arm only to lower it again. The person that was holding it was wearing a white suit, vaguely familiar to the suit that he wore when he first met Stella. It was in a different style, but he can relate to that. He did not know how to respond, but he did anyways, his voice cold, cruel, and snappy. "In the same boat, aren't we?"

TRAPPED UPON THIS ISLAND WITHNO WAY WAY TO GET HOME----------------The figure appeared to be a male just a little younger than him wearing all black in contrast to his white. How strange. He could not say he had seen the male before but his clothes suggest that he did not come from the village but rather the city. So was he a traveler of this strange place. He didn’t seem scared at the fact that there was a weapon pointing at him. He was not an ordinary civilian then if he didn’t immediately back away or try to run for that matter. A calm individual…he must have faced weapons before to remain this calm. Rufus would like to say he has done it many times before actually from the look of his face. "In the same boat, aren't we?" Oh? So he had been captured to or was he stating the fact that the two were both lost?
”It appears so my friend.” He replied with a little amusement in his tone. The stranger seems like the only one to keep him company asides from Dark Nation of course. That is to say if it was his loyal pet. It looked, talked and its pattern was similar but last time he checked the creature was dead. For it to come back to life…that was something far too good to be true. Call him a pessimist if you must but he highly doubt it would last long. He learned quite well nothing would last forever. His mother, his empire and his father although perhaps the last was a good thing. He was never fond of the man and did not even attend to his funeral. He saw no reason to, they weren’t family in his eyes. They might have half of the same blood but they never acted like a family. Never played games together or anything he saw children did. Actually he was sure that Strife was more of a father to the two orphans than his own father was. For a moment he felt a small tinge of jealousy but quickly he dispelled it.
Right now he should focus on the male ahead of him. He can reconcile with his past another time…that is to say if that was to even happen in the first place. He was never fond of his past and actually liked the work Reeve had given him at times. It was something to distract his mind from the man. ”So tell me, what are you doing in a place like this?” he asked. It wasn’t everyday one find someone from the city in a place like this. At least back where he came from. He still have yet to figure out if this was some bizarre dream due to him staying up for days on end or if something else was going on. He feared that it was the later though since you usually know the people in your dreams. Well he certainly did not know the young man in front of him. So that was one thing against dreams. Of course there were some superstitious people saying strangers in dreams are meant to meet each other in reality. Rufus though did not believe in such things. They were simply superstition to ease the mind that was all. Things that he would never fall for.
His cold icy orb never left the boy as his beloved guardian was in its usual attack position. He did not stop it though. One wrong move and they may be a fight. Was it because the blond was always wary? Why yes he was a bit paranoid. Then again who would not? He was in a strange new world or dream. He still needed to find someone to help him confirm it and so he was not planning on lowering his guard. Although he did slowly put the gun away. It was useless at the moment anyway having no more ammo. He was going to have to go to a city and get some more later. Although he was not sure of where the nearest city would be as he had encounter monsters he seen before and some he had never seen nor heard of. As a man that travel, albeit he always had his TURK to deal with the monsters for him he had seen many and made sure to memorize their weaknesses and attack patterns. Just in case something was to happen and he would have to fight. Obviously it had paid off but yet the new monsters. They were abnormal.

HAPPINESS HIT HER LIKE A TRAIN ON TRACKS COMING TOWARDS HER STILL NO TURNING BACK
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - SHE HID AROUND CORNERS AND HID UNDER BEDS SHE KILLED IT WITH KISSES AND SHE FLED The male didn't take a moment to briefly look over the others features as he lowered that weapon of his, placing the engine-equipped sword on his back were it belonged. The man seemed to be sophisticated, seeing that he also seemed to be calm like him. He himself was too calm. He has faced a lot of weapons at his face to the point that he could have been some very powerful weapon if it wasn't for him preferring to work alone. Noctis didn't like it when he worked with someone that was slow, or rather -- annoying and talked every second of a journey. He did deal with those people, by simply telling them to go away and make them get a demotion while he got a promotion. Countless times some people requested him to become their bodyguard on a monster-infested road. All they gave to him as payment was a reply of thanks, or that they didn't have anything at all. He wasn't going to do something for nothing -- he should get something in return. That's what collateral means; giving someone something of yours, yet they give something in return. If you don't receive that thing of yours back, you don't give the person's thing back. Simple as that. Apparently people do not know that around here at all.
The man replied to him in amusement. He didn't know what the word 'amusement' meant -- meaning that he didn't have nor show amusement at all. What was the point to show amusement if you don't have the right emotions to do so? He knew the other did it for a specific reason not because of his emotions, but he didn't pry into the lives of people unlike others. His clothing -- a clear contrast to the others white, was like trying to fight light with darkness. If Stella was here, he would've got of this situation already, yet with her sociable attitude, she would start talking, talking, and talking some more. His own aqua blue eyes stared back, not taking his gaze off of the older man, his ears picking up signs of monsters from a far distance, but not too far. The new monsters here looked mutated -- a cross with something against something. It looked like the two things that it was now had some fun time in a secluded area. Noctis used his mind to look around his surroundings, trying to feel rather than look. He can feel the stare that the man's "pet" gave him, permanently in a position that if he made the wrong move, a battle would commence. He knew better than to do that. He was trained for anything like this to happen, after all.
"I'm lost." He answered, knowing that people who admit that they were either lost or troubled, it was better than keeping it and getting into serious trouble later on. His mind and personality was obviously one-tracked; getting right to the point rather than trying to avoid conversations. Noctis loved information -- anything that will lead him towards the man that ripped up multiple worlds and caused certain cities and villages to merge into one. Ah.. if only something that took his mind off came along. Probably a fight? No, not with the man, but with multiple monsters.
