HAPPINESS HIT HER LIKE A TRAIN ON TRACKS COMING TOWARDS HER STILL NO TURNING BACK

There were buildings that were taller and grander than the ones in the villages that he walked through. It had an old feeling to it, yet it was welcoming and everyone's in high spirits. He had never stumbled upon a city like this, despite what just happened with a lot of worlds being torn away like paper burning up in a pit of flames. Adjacent to where the blue haired youth was standing, someone walked up to him and gave him a red flower, nodding happily as they ran to do the same to incoming travelers. He slowly looked down with his aqua blue eyes at the red flower, wondering if it knew that it's companions were dying each minute of every-day. He did not know what to do with the flower, but he wasn't some somber romantic like some males were, and that made him sick! He seemed to blend in pertaining to his clothing, but no one would likely to notice someone with dark clothing and standing above a lot of people, would they? It was crowded here after all, and it's very unlikely that someone would spot him. Still, he can see the tension that some people hold as they sat in the dark alleys, staring up at him with hopeful eyes as if he was going to become their savior. He hears a lot of conversations involving some kid that he does not know. Maybe he's the hero and he'll come and save them?
The main attraction that caused him to be fascinated was that Rabanastre has suffered little to no damage. So, that was the name? No wonder people did not show fear as they entered their own homes. He saw this happen in the past, seeing people slowly enter their homes like their door was going to break any minute. Here, there were clearly mechanics that he could relate to. It looked like everything seemed to be running on steam, yet he couldn't quite tell with people taller than him walking extremely slow in front of him. Someone just asked him how old he was, and when he responded that he was nineteen, their eyes widened in shock, as if people thought that he was 25. A prince does not need to be 25 at all. Boys that were born of royal birth are automatically princes. He does not need to be 25 to have an immense range of wisdom. He'd almost forgot about the red flower in his hand, twirling it in his hands as if he was actually bored. In fact, he was amused at the people that knew no boundaries, still called their city Rabanastre, played games, and conversed into trade with store owners. Ah; he wished his city-state was as peaceful as this, then he wouldn't need to protect it as much.
He was about to give the red flower to a person that was looking at it strangely, but someone that was walking behind him accidentally bumped into him. Unlike the normal person that would stumble forward or fall face-first into the ground, Noctis was standing still, turning his head to the side as he looked down at the person that bumped into him. He didn't fume with anger at all. He wouldn't do that; why would he? He doesn't like to attract attention at all, especially in big places such as this. He got a closer look at the person as soon as someone finally walked around him, and it was a girl, with light platinum blond hair, and what appeared to be a black suit. Why are a lot of people wearing clothing similar to his own suit he wore back at his world? This is like Wonderland: it's a small world after all!, and he would be Alice.

No sign of Coral, or even the Chocobo Ranch, had the entire continent entirely disappeared? What was West anymore? Lightly her finger rubbed her temple, straining to find logic, when in truth there wasn’t any. She’d never seen this city before, none of these people were familiar, and they didn’t even recognize the uniform she wore. The strange part of all of this was simply how none of these strangers reacted like the ones in Midgar had, she half expected to entire and have more weapons points at her, instead she met the warm expression a small child who nervously giggled and waved before returning to her mother. A small sigh was emitted, she’d hope the girl may have mentioned someone identically dressed passing through, but finding Rude and Tseng would prove not to be as easy as it was to find Reno. Then again having a heroic rescue wasn’t exactly something bound to happen around every corner, which she was thankful for, she hated appearing to be the damsel in distress.
“None of this is making sense…” She muttered to herself eyes drifting to her feet, only realizing she someone was in front of her after she had bumped into them. “S-sorry” The blonde Turk stammered, it wasn’t the first time she had to apologize for her clumsy behavior, though in truth this time she’d simply been too wrapped up with in her own thoughts. At first she hardly glanced at the man, walking around him to get a better gaze at the city, before black fabric slowly drew her eyes.
SOLDIER?![/i] This didn’t settle well with Elena at all, finally took a better look at the man she had accidentally ran into. His clothing resembled a stylized version of Cloud Strife’s uniform if anything, really a modified version of the First Class SOLDIER uniforms if she recalled. Again the blonde’s mind was fishing for answers where there were none, logic didn’t seem to matter her, but it was clearly visible despite the woman had no idea who the man was, there was something familiar about him. “I…wasn’t watching where I was going…” She added as she managed to find her words. His red eyes were striking, similar to Vincent Valentine’s. yet clothing similar to the delivery boy, Quite the sword though, but it was modified in a way she’d never seen before, what were all those extra cogs on it for?
“I… Know this may sound odd, but does SOLDIER or Midgar mean anything to you?” Elena had to check, though honestly she wouldn’t be surprised if they did or didn’t. The first class Soldiers she had seen when she were younger were all very attractive men, and this guy, matched that, sword as a weapon, another check, the only off setting thing was he didn’t appear to be dead. All the First Class Soldier’s had met horrible demises…[/size]

SOLIDER and Midgar?" He asked questioning, his engine sword safely on his back, not attacking the female any time soon. What were those words? When he was in other villages and cities, he had heard people saying something about Midgar and him being in Soldier. His red eyes were as if it was signaling to the girl that he was about to cast some spell, yet they slowly turned to blue as he thought of something to say. Just something to delete the awkward silence that was only around them. "Don't feel sorry." He replied, as if he was reading the girl's mind. Looking around, he spotted a small clearing that no one was standing in, and if the girl would follow, he started to walk over there, not wanting to stall other people if they were going to leave the city. Was he going to leave the city? Oh no; he was that poor little Alice caught in a small, small world. The female that bumped into him was simply another person that he meets on his journey -- just a pawn that he could use to accomplish his goal to defeat the 'shadow' leader that made this god forsaken continent. He did not see anything remotely familiar pertaining to the way of talking, clothing, architecture, and weapons. It was a strange place with strange people and creatures. "Noctis." He simply stated, saying his name and not expecting the female to say her's back. He'll just think of a nickname for her. Blond Girl in a Suit!

It figured he’d have absolutely no idea what she was talking about. The words rolled off his tongue strangely, almost as if it was a foreign tongue, it had been a stupid question to ask in the first place. Worriedly the woman wondered if perhaps this man was a general for one of the units that she’d been ducking away from, perhaps she had walked into a death trap, wouldn’t be the first time. Letting out a small breath she noticed he began to walk towards a clearing, his glance back signaling her to follow, so she did. Clearly business wasn’t quite done between the two of them in this little encounter, and that was fine by her, she needed information. Why did she feel so much colder at the moment, was it the man’s presence, or perhaps it was the feeling created by the separation from her comrades. This is what they said she should feel as a Turk, though the feeling made her somewhat sick to her stomach.
“…Noctis?” Elena repeated the name somewhat surprised, sounded in similar name as Cloud did. Strange the parallel’s this world carried, compared to her own. “Elena… of the Turks.” The girl smiled tacking on the end bit out of sheer habit, after all, the job was her life for the most part. Gently the woman smiled before looking out towards the city noticing the friendly disposition, it was sort of refreshing, being in Midgar had become a city of hopelessness almost. “Strange, you resemble a SOLDIER but… never heard of it. Then again most people haven’t…. I can’t even find the rest of Gaia.” She muttered to herself somewhat before folding her arms. “Would you happen to know where we are?”

A simple pawn to accomplish his task to kill the person that made this world into a desolated wasteland. She had the blond hair, and it looked like she was curious as to how he didn't know what were those two places yet. He felt at ease, yet he initially placed up that fake facade of "coolness" with people that he doesn't know. Upon learning her name, he tilted his head to the left slowly, bringing it back up as he looked at Elena. "Nice to meet you, Elena." He spoke calmly, looking around at the surroundings one more. It won't be long before he finally leaves this huge city and go off traveling again. Or he could stay here for a while so he can rest up -- only for a night or a couple. He'll need to get acquainted with the people here so he can possibly get information. Under the cover of the night time, he would. It was best to get information during the night -- it was less open and most people would be asleep. The day just seemed too suspicious to someone like him -- that looked like a SOLDIER, and his name sounding remotely to Cloud. "Rabanastre." He replied. After a moment of silence, he spoke again. "... The inhabitants of this city seem to be happy no matter what." He murmured to himself, looking at a random trading session between one person and a humanoid creature. ".. Because this place suffered least damage, I suspect?"

Definitely wasn’t any place on Gaia with a name like that, god she felt like she’d entered some fantasy novel, and this man while more talkative to Rude, had a very distanced nature about him Elena remained uncertain about. Was he lost? Or did he have every last step of the way figured out in a means to enact conversation with her. A slight feeling of distrust fell over her, not so much by anything h did, but situational circumstances had her sitting always on the edge. Her eyes followed his after a moment, noticing the people that were beginning to trade with one another, acting like nothing happened. “Lucky it… ” Yes, how lucky for them their city took so little damage while Midgar fell into further disarray, “If only everyone had been so lucky.”
“Then again if they don’t have a large population, the chances of their survival is slim… its foreign, and most people seem to want the foreigners eliminated from what I gathered.” Now she was testing the waters, seeing if the mention of it would set him on edge or not, certainly she already was. A Turk had to be prepared for anything right? Well even pretty men could be one’s worst nightmare, as she had learned from firsthand experience. “More they have, the safer they are right?” Now it was a simple wait and see how the man responded, smoothing her hair the Turk admired the fashion of the natives of this area, “What a variety.”

Noctis did not know why she was talking to him like this. His presence let alone is quite intimidating. Maybe she's been around people with an intimidating presence such as he and that's why she's used to it? He didn't write down every single step to enact a conversation with her. There are some people that just resemble his friends and his way of dressing. It's not his fault he strikes up a conversation with them and he's the one that isn't talking a lot. The mention of the survival is slim just placed him into a huge blast to memory lane. The other people in his world didn't have a chance to survive, save for his three friends, Stella, and the Man in the White Robe. "... They think of us as the foreigners." He replied. "Such a shame." He placed on his cold expression. "Huge numbers; people have a better chance of survival. Small numbers..." He paused. "... Die quicker."
