Weapons/Abilities:
Destiny Place is round and curvaceous to the point of not even looking harmful. One side of the hilt is formed in the shape of a beautiful breaking ocean wave, symbolizing the Destiny Island Ocean.The other is formed into a beige vine which wraps around the blade to burst forth into a gorgeous bouquet of flowers coming from the Radient Simplicity that comes from Kairi. The flowers are located on the teeth of the blade. A red silken key-chain connects the hilt to the Paopu Fruit token, a symbol of the love between Sora and Kairi. The item is seen a lot due to the un-breakable bond the two of them have.The reason why she has the ability to wield the keyblade is due to having such a strong heart like Sora and Riku. She isn't fully able to fight, nor summon the weapon quickly enough, but is learning due to Sora and Riku. She isn't into fighting, but she can stand her own ground against an enemy.
Keyhole-Like the other princesses, she has the power to open the Final Keyhole to Kingdom Hearts in Hollow Bastion once she is with the rest of the princesses.
Humanity-Kairi also has the power to restore Sora's humanity after he becomes a Heartless. it’s a very nice ability, and Kairi is proud to help Sora in anyway.
Angel’s Light- Kairi throws her keyblade like a boomerang, as it grows angel wings flying through enemies either purifying them, or killing them for good. Due to her never wanting to kill anyone. This attack only stuns a person at-least five minutes.
Barrier-Since the other Princesses of Heart possess the ability to hold back darkness Kairi has this ability as well taking it with pride.

Personality:
Kairi is caring, kindhearted and not afraid to speak out her mind, yet she is a very determined, courageous person. When someone she cares for is hurt she goes into action, and does all she can to save them. Due to that she ends up risking her own life, and makes other people worry about her. Yet other then that she has become a slightly because of Sora's absence, she has obtained wisdom people her age don‘t have. Also the brash and bold has gone away, but the sociable side of Kairi is still around. She befriends new people quickly Hayner, Pence, and Olette in Twilight Town quickly became her friends. In fact she is always a warm, and inviting person when you first meet her. Its one of her best traits, and Kairi doesn’t take it for granted at all for she knows it is something she wants to cherish. In fact in the trio Kairi is the cheerful, upbeat and tomboyish one of the group. She takes that part of her with pride for she still acts girly when she wants and needs too. Kairi is also the one that looks at the positive things about living on the island, and not the negative. She enjoys giving everyone confidence, and does her best to always cheer her friends up.
Its something people tend to love about her, and she likes to see people smile. Other then all those traits Kairi is a very sweet, energetic girl that enjoys her life. She never takes her friends for granted for she doesn’t want to loose them. Friends are her treasure and her heart beats when she is near them. As for facing danger her worried face goes away for she wants to be strong so her friends won’t worry about her. She knows that she can take care of herself, and wants to let everyone know she isn’t the same anymore. When around Sora her bubbly girly side appears for she is always nervous. She never shows it, but hides it with her affection, and happiness about knowing he is home. Kairi may be a girl on an island, but she is still a Princess of heart. Like the other princess of hearts she shows courage, and still somehow shows her royal side.
The polite attitude appears for she respects everyone. In truth when she was a little girl her grandmother somehow had always been training her for being a princess. She remembers those lessons very well, and takes them all to heart. As for sports she enjoys being the adorable ‘you can do it’ cheer girl that enjoys seeing her friends have fun. Sometimes she may join in the game, but it is very rare that she even plays with Sora and Riku. In fact she is usually the one that countdowns, and giggles when her friends act silly. Spending time with her friends is something she wouldn’t trade for the world, nor would she want to give up. Lastly she may be kind, but sometimes Kairi can lie just to protect her friends. Its something she would never approve of, yet everyone has their flaws even the sweet adorable Kairi.
History:
Kingdom Hearts:Birth By Sleep
Kairi was born on the world called Radiant Garden, while there she was living with her grandmother. On a nice day she is chased by a group of Unversed and sees Aqua and King Mickey. The two both sensed a pure light in her heart, proving that she was a Princess of Heart. Kairi was scared, of the chasers and hid behind Aqua. She then touched Aqua's Keyblade, without an intention performed a Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony. When Kairi was about to become captured by the enemy, Aqua and King Mickey combined their forces to protect her. After the Unversed were defeated, King Mickey was called away. Kairi then gave Aqua the flowers she picked before the Unversed appeared, which become the Destiny Place Keyblade. After Aqua returns and puts a protection charm on her necklace, and Kairi returns to her grandmother. Her grandmother then begins to tell her the, story of the light and the darkness. However Aqua believes their, meeting may not have been a coincidence.After Kairi picked flowers in a large garden and looks up to the bright sky, as if she had sensed something.
Kingdom Hearts
One year after Aqua showed up, Radiant Garden became shrouded by darkness and everyone was scattered across the universe. Kairi then appeared off the coast of the Destiny Islands during a meteor shower, due to Aqua's magic. Sora, at the time was five years old as well, carefully approached her and asked, "Who are you? Where did you come from?" A few days after, Sora said she was adopted by the mayor of the town, but stayed with her grandmother. There she told Kairi stories about the children of light. At the time the small girl didn't know she was a child of light till she somehow ended up on the coast of Destiny Island during a meteor shower. She had no clue where she had come from or how she had got there. Soon after Kairi came onto Destiny island by the time she was fourteen she was extra close friends with Sora and Riku. The two boys always playfully competed for her attention. Kairi often supported the competitions, but she never knew they were contests for her affection and not just cute rivalry.
Since coming to Destiny Island she has had no memory about her life on Hollow Bastion as a child. Her strange past creates wonder in Sora, and Riku who want to get off the island in hopes of seeing other worlds. This idea soon helps the trio think of a plan to make a raft in which they do. But the day when they finish it, and head home the island is attacked by strange creatures on a darkness filled night. Sora went to the island too make sure the raft was alright, but ended up seeing Kairi, and Riku were there as well. When Sora looks around for his two friends he ends up going to the secret place where Kairi, and him drew pictures of each other when they were little. Inside the secret place Kairi turned around saying, "Sora.."She looked sad, a little ill almost like she knew what was going on. But right after she said Sora's name a huge gust of wind blew out the door, and into the cave. Kairi flew towards Sora with her then a huge gust of wind swept through a door in the back of the cave and Kairi flew towards him. Sora opened his arms to catch her, but she disappeared right as she was about to be pulled into his hug.
At that moment Kairi chose Sora as a vessel for her heart to protect. Her body went to an unknown world, and from that day Sora never saw Kairi again. But later on in the adventure Sora found out Riku was trying to find Kairi as well, and when Sora found the boy he was looking for Riku. Riku saw that he had new friends, and was soon manipulated by Maleficent into believing that Sora no longer cared for either Kairi or himself. Later on Riku finds Kairi first, but she is an empty shell with a, vacant, lifeless expression and a limp body. When the island was attacked she lost her heart and because of her being a princess of hearts, her body remained untouched by the darkness that usually produced a Heartless. Maleficent, gave Riku empty promises which convinced him that he alone could locate Kairi's heart and restore her to health. After visiting many worlds Sora went to Neverland, and Sora finally sees Kairi, along with a horrible reunion with Riku. Riku is very defensive about Kairi, and ends up locking her in a room with Wendy so that Sora can't get to her.
When Sora reaches the room below her cell, he tries to get to her with his hand hoping for a reaction his hand towards her, desperately hoping for a reaction as he just discovered the full lengths of Kairi's condition. Unconsciously, her hand twitched before going still again, much to Sora's relief. But before he could get Kairi, Riku then took her away again, having new knowledge of where Kairi's heart is located. Soon after Sora beat Captain Hook, and Goofy thinks aloud whether or not Kairi had indeed lost her heart. Donald, not wanting to upset Sora, quickly shushes him. Sora, however, appears to be in denial, thinking over his disbelief that he could fly and whether or not Kairi would believe him. Sora follows Riku to Hollow Bastion and he finds out that Kairi's heart has been resting within him which explains all the visions he has had of her during his journey. Sora also learns that Kairi is one of the Princesses of Heart, a maiden whose heart holds no darkness, and is needed to open the final Keyhole.
Soon after winning a fight against Riku/Ansem Sora drives Ansem from Hollow Bastion, and Sora ends up sacrificing himself using the Dark Keyblade to free Kairi's heart, and is turned into a Shadow Heartless. Kairi wakes up, and runs towards him, but as soon as her fingers touch him, he vanishes. Devastated, Kairi, along with Donald and Goofy, attempt to escape from Hollow Bastion as Xehanort's Heartless, disguised as Ansem, arrives. But just as the three are cornered by the Heartless, Kairi recognizes Sora's Heartless from the crowd and manages to bring Sora back from the Darkness by hugging him and promising to protect him. The four then escape Hollow Bastion,Kairi's home world, and find shelter in Traverse Town where Kairi could be protected by Leon and the others. Soon after Sora finds Kairi in the underground water tunnel after talking with Leon. She says absent-mindlessly how much the place reminded her of their Secret Place. While lost in darkness, Sora saw one of Kairi's memories of her as a little girl wandering around the Hollow Bastion library with her grandmother. Sora mentions this and it is shown that after her heart was restored, Kairi could remember certain things from her past.
Kairi wanted to help rescue Riku and stop the darkness from coming, yet Sora convinces her to stay put, not wanting her to get hurt and also joking that she would be in his way. Sora also acknowledged that, since their hearts were one, they would always be together. During the conversation, it was stated that Kairi's voice brought Sora back from the darkness. Kairi gives in to his words and gives Sora her Lucky Charm, which also turns into the Keyblade called Oathkeeper. Soon after Sora goes to the end of the world he beats Ansem saves Riku and closes Kingdom Hearts. After that was done he saw Kairi walking around where the door to light had been closed. He runs to her, and they get separated, but Sora promises Kairi that what she said about how they would come back to each other would come true. Kairi knew it was true, and drifted off heading to the brought back Destiny Island. Soon after the whole island is restored. Kairi goes to the secret place, and see Sora drew a picture of him sharing a Papou fruit with her. She showed a tear of happiness drawing the same picture showing she would do the same.
Kingdom Hearts 2
Kairi, is now 15 years old, and is living a normal life not on Destiny Island. She attends school everyday along with her friend Selphie. Since being fifteen she has longer hair, and more defined features. Since going to school she spends most of her time focusing on her studies, and thinking about the boy she's forgotten. Kairi has also been hanging out with Selphie, Wakka, and Tidus her other friends on Destiny Island. Since being on her own Kairi has become slightly more withdrawn, has obtained wisdom usually beyond someone of her age. She's also not as brash and bold as she was at the young age of fourteen, yet she's still pretty sociable. She understands that both Riku and Sora have great things to fulfill, but that still doesn't keep her from taking action and searching for the people she has forgotten on her own.
Since living a normal life she has forgotten about Sora, and misses him very much. One day, while walking home from school with Selphie, she gets a bad head ache, and falls over. When on the ground she is put into contact with a young boy named Roxas, a boy who is actually sora's nobody. Roxas was trying to contact Naminé, Kairi's Nobody, but ended up reaching her instead. During this conversation, Roxas brings up a girl Sora knows, and, Kairi quickly ask about his name. Sora himself, despite being in a slumber, somehow uses Roxas as a spiritual connection to talk to her. He then teases her for forgetting his name, and jokingly gives her a hint that his name starts with 'S'. Soon after Selphie wakes up, Kairi to see if she’s alright. The two of them walk to the shore, and Kairi sends a letter in a bottle out to sea in hopes that it would reach Sora one day and quickly says,"Starts with an 'S'... Right, Sora?"
Soon after someone named Axel comes to Destiny Islands and tells Kairi to come with him. She quickly refuses until Axel summons a group of Nobodies, a bark behind her gives her another option. She then runs off into a nearby portal with King Mickey's dog, Pluto, into Twilight Town and meets Hayner, Pence and Olette. She immediately fits in with the three and going then explain who she is searching for. After she finishes her story she finds out, Hayner, Pence, and Olette know Sora. They then assure her that she could stay in Twilight Town until his next visit.
Unfortunately, she is found again by Axel and is taken again with him, Olette, Hayner, and Pence's attempts to stop him do nothing to prolong it. However Saïx finds Axel with Kairi and takes her to The World That Never Was as a prisoner, stating that she is the "fire that feeds Sora's anger." Kairi is horrified at the information, thinking all hope is lost until she is freed by her Nobody, Naminé. Naminé then uses a Corridor of Darkness to allow them to escape the cell, telling Kairi to trust herself.
The two attempt to escape, but are stopped by Saïx and two Berserker Nobodies who offer to take Kairi to Sora. Once she refuses, Saïx gets ready to send the Nobodies to attack the two girls, but are saved by a cloaked figure. Naminé hints that the figure is Riku, causing him to pause as Kairi walks towards him to remove the hood. Her guess is correct and it is indeed Riku even though his appearance has changed to Xehanort's Heartless, she takes this in her mind and is just happy to be reunited with Riku. Kairi then finds Sora while look over a balcony he is fighting heartless. Kairi not un-happy to see him in trouble she says, "Huh? You leave Sora alone!" She then moves back a bit jumping off the balcony, and then is jumped by a group of Heartless. After begging jumped on by heartless Riku saves her handing Kairi a Keyblade she says, "This time.. I'll fight! You know Sora's completely hopeless without us! C'mon Riku!" Riku nods, and they successfully fend off the remaining Heartless. After Sora beats Xigbar Kairi is reunited with Sora. When she sees him she runs, and hugs him making sure that he was real. Soon after Riku/Ansem was just about to leave, but Kairi stops him showing Sora that Ansem was actually Riku.
Soon after a Sora battles two members of Organization 13,and finally defeating Xemnas Naminé appears and creates a portal, where Donald, Goofy and Mickey go through leaving Sora, Kairi and Riku. Kairi walks towards her and Sora follows Kairi. As Kairi looks at Namine she says, "Thank you Namine." Soon after Naminé tries to make Sora remember her, but Sora gets confused, and then Roxas comes out of him. Naminé and Roxas accept their magnificent fate together to live inside Sora and Kairi. They then fuse with their original selves, and Kairi walks to the portal, saying "Come on lets go home." The two boys nod as Kairi walks into the portal about to leave. Before Sora and Riku can go with her the portal closes as she holds out her hand yelling with worry, "Sora, Riku!" After the portal disappears, and the two fight Xemnas again!
After the two defeat Xemnas, they arrive at the shore of Dark Meridian. Kairi´s letter appears to them and Sora reads it. Soon after Sora reads the letter The Door To Light appears and the two boys go through it and arrive at Destiny Islands shores as Kairi shouts, "Sora! Riku!" She waves towards them, and Sora swims excited towards her but Donald and Goofy jump to Sora and Mickey to Riku. The two heroes hug Sora, as Roxas, and Namine smile at each other. After Sora shows her the lucky charm and replies to Kairi that there back, but Kairi corrects him saying, "You're home" and extends her hand towards him. Sora takes her hand, and at the same time returning the lucky charm to her. Soon after everyone is back on the island Kairi appears running to them, shouting, "Sora! Riku!"Sora turns to her and asks with an expression of 'Hey, What's up?' and Kairi hands him a letter from the King. The trio read the letter learning new information, and Sora sat deciding. After Sora sits on the Paopu tree while holding the message from King Mickey, staring off into the sunset. He tells Riku that he has made a decision, and Kairi walks up to them. Sora tells her that everyone is suffering and waiting, and that he has to put back everything that is connected to him. She then smiles handing him her lucky charm and tells him to "Hurry back. A year passed, and Kairi is still waiting for Sora to return.

“Maybe... waiting isn't good enough.” A small sigh came from the mouth of Kairi a teen looking for her long lost friends. It had been a whole year since she had seen them, and she missed them more then anything. Her heart yearned for Sora and Riku to return, but knew that he would never return without Riku. The more she thought about him never returning the more her head started to hurt as her eye sight became blurry. Her body fell backwards, as she laid in the soft sand with her eyes closed not wanting to open. “Sora…” Her glossed pink lips said his name in a whisper tone as her memories went back to the beginning. “Wake up you lazy bum!” A small fourteen year old girl smiled at a spiky brown haired boy. His name was Sora. Her best friend, and someone that she wanted to stay with forever. He was always in her heart, and so was her other close friend Riku.
They were all together on a small world named Destiny Island. It was a quit place that was in fact three parts of one island. Many children came to play on the island other then Sora, Riku and Kairi. Their names were Selphie, Tidus and Wakka. Together the six of them spent time together on the island everyday. But the most curious of the islanders was Riku a boy with courage, and mostly the older brother figure of Sora and Kairi. He was the one that wanted to tell explore islands. It was a nice thought, and thanks to the raft the three of them were all building everyone would get to see new worlds. Kairi was excited and at the same she wanted to stay on the island with Sora.
The memories turn black as small creatures walk around Kairi their eyes yellow, and big waiting to get her. “This time I’ll protect you!” Her small body rushed to the singled out heartless, as her arms wrapped around it. A light shined as Kairi’s eyes opened quickly her body moved away from the shore. A portal opened as a man stepped through with red hair, out of it with a smirk. Kairi wasn’t afraid for she knew that this time she would find Sora, and rescue him from the darkness. “This time.. I’ll come back to you. I promise.” Those words went through her head as, a confident look was on her face. She ran through the portal with Pluto the dog knowing her journey was just now beginning.
